Founder

Miller, a Co-Founder of Mobley & Partners and an Alabama native, kickstarted his photography and directing career in New York, amassing over 15 years of experience. Notable subjects in his portfolio include Matthew McConaughey, Michelle Obama, Taylor Swift, Tom Hanks, Nick Saban, Anthony Bourdain, and Dolly Parton. Beyond his photographic endeavors, Miller oversees creative development and design at Mobley & Partners, leveraging his passion for visual arts.

His career trajectory was shaped by the diverse cultural influences he encountered while living in New York and traveling the globe. This exposure instilled in him a profound appreciation for transformative hospitality experiences. Miller's unique intersection of visual arts, art direction, and hospitality property development is where he finds the most value creation. This fusion informs his approach to crafting meaningful and impactful work.

Carter Hughes
Founder

Carter, a co-founder of Mobley and Partners, leverages his extensive expertise in property acquisitions, new business development, and financing. Having initiated H2 Real Estate / Hughes Capital Partners in 2007, he successfully developed and sold over 200 residential homes. Currently overseeing the management of 2500+ residential apartments and 275k+ square feet of office and retail space at H2, strategically located in Birmingham, AL.

Before co-founding Mobley & Partners, Carter served as the VP of Acquisitions for LEM Capital, a division of Independence Capital Partners in Philadelphia. In this pivotal role, he deployed over $250 million of capital across a diverse portfolio exceeding $1 billion in real estate assets, spanning multifamily, office, retail, and resort residential.

Carter holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and earned both a Master's in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the University of New Mexico.

Sol Andrews
Partner, VP of Hospitality

Sol began his illustrious career within the hospitality industry's renowned training grounds of Hillstone Restaurant Group. Driven by a fervor to develop, build and operate destination restaurants that defy conventions, Sol boasts an impressive track record of bringing 41 food and beverage concepts from brand development to revenue generation. These concepts span from neighbourhood turnkey restaurants and specialty cocktail bars to multioutlet hotels and high-volume entertainment venues strategically positioned in the competitive markets of New York City, Miami, Detroit, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

Boasting an impressive 22-year career working with industry shaping organizations including NoHo Hospitality Group, Lightstone Development, and LDV Hospitality, Sol remains dedicated to fostering brand growth, nurturing distinctive cultures and educating the future leaders and team members of our industry. As a military veteran who served from 2003 to 2007 in Europe, the Middle East and throughout the USA, he brings a wealth of experience and unwavering dedication.

Jeffrey Bayer
Partner, Senior Advisor

Jeffrey, formerly the founder of Bayer Properties, is a seasoned professional in developing, leasing, managing, and marketing mixed-use real estate assets. With a career that spans back to the inception of Bayer Properties in 1983, Jeffrey has been a driving force behind the firm's transformation from a local property management company into a national commercial real estate leader.

One of Jeffrey's notable achievements was leading Bayer Properties to amass a portfolio of 12 million square feet under his visionary leadership. His strategic approach and expertise have significantly impacted the landscape of commercial real estate.

Jeffrey played a crucial role in the land acquisition, planning, and development of The Terminal at Katy Trail in Dallas, Texas. This impressive project stands as an 8-story mixed-use development, featuring a blend of commercial spaces and luxury condominiums.

Throughout his career, Jeffrey's influence can be seen in a series of landmark developments, including The Summit in Birmingham, AL, The Summit in Reno, NV, Front Range Village in Fort Collins, CO, The Summit in Louisville, KY, Cahaba Village in Birmingham, AL, The Crescent office building in Birmingham, AL, The Summit at Fritz Farm in Lexington, KY, and The Pizitz, a historic redevelopment in Birmingham, AL. His dedication to excellence and innovative vision has left an indelible mark on the real estate landscape.

Jeremy Clark
Design Director

Jeremy Clark is a distinguished interior designer, formally trained and currently serving as the Design Director at Mobley & Partners. Born and raised in Alabama, Jeremy embarked on his design journey in Nashville, TN, under the mentorship of esteemed creative industry leaders. A graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design, Jeremy has garnered acclaim as a 2023 House Beautiful Next Wave Designer. His work has been prominently featured in Veranda, Wall Street Journal, House Beautiful, and One Kings Lane.

Sarah Stewart
Studio Director

Originally from Michigan, Sarah is a University of Alabama graduate, infusing her passion for delivering exceptional client experiences into her current position as an overseer of interior design projects. In this role, Sarah prioritizes transparency, clear communication, schedule management, and extraordinary accuracy, embodying the principles that have shaped her career. Her background in providing tailored solutions and unwavering dedication to excellence make substantial contributions to 
the success and client-focused ethos of 
her position.
